Phlebotomist Job Opportunity

ASPIRE Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to provide high-quality blood collection services at a reputable healthcare facility. If you are dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care while maintaining professional standards, we encourage you to apply.

Location and Schedule
The selected candidate will work at a healthcare system located in Danville, IL, with a schedule that includes Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. and 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., alternating tours. Overtime may be required on an as-needed basis.

Requirements
To be eligible for this position, you must have a High School Diploma or equivalent, at least 1 year of experience in phlebotomy, and be certified in Basic Life Support (BLS). You must also be a US citizen.

Responsibilities
As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for performing blood collection, accessing and receiving samples, and instructing patients in proper collection methods. You will also be required to maintain effective interpersonal skills and provide excellent customer service to patients, families, and medical center employees. Additionally, you will be responsible for general clerical and administrative support for the area, stocking and maintaining specialized supplies, and transporting specimens to the laboratory.
