Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily operations across various departments including Production, Planning, and Shipping.
  • Oversee the entire production lifecycle, proactively identifying and resolving issues.
  • Plan and organize manufacturing operations to optimize workflow and meet delivery schedules.
  • Maintain a comprehensive Preventive Maintenance schedule for all production equipment.
  • Source and coordinate with external maintenance providers as necessary.
  • Direct and align plant objectives with cost-effective quality standards.
  • Delegate responsibilities to supervisors and support adherence to company policies.
  • Assist in achieving organizational goals and support staff development initiatives.
  • Communicate performance metrics and project updates to senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
  • Stay informed on emerging trends and technologies in the manufacturing sector.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Candidate Profile:

  • A minimum of ten years of experience in the aerospace manufacturing sector.
  • High School Diploma or GED; a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is advantageous.
  • Strong expertise in CNC Mill and Lathe Machining.
  • A collaborative team player capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in production software and ERP systems.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on process improvement and cost reduction.
  • Excellent organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Competent in financial analysis for strategic decision-making.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • General understanding of related fields such as engineering, supply chain, and quality assurance.
  • Ability to collaborate with engineering and program managers to assess current and future needs.
  • Capability to identify and implement best practices for performance enhancement.
  • Proficient in interpreting complex instructions and documentation.

  • Familiarity with manufacturing standards and processes.
