Overview

Our Clinical Engineering team plays a critical role in ensuring that our medical equipment is working properly and accurately, allowing our healthcare teams to confidently leverage diagnostic equipment when needed.


Responsibilities

As a Senior Biomedical Equipment Technician at Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle, WA, you'll be responsible for providing coverage and support for the CE Lead, performing preventative maintenance and safety tests, and repairing equipment throughout the responsible area. You'll also prioritize your workload effectively, complete necessary record keeping, and solve customer service issues with minimal supervision.


  • Provide technical support and assistance to healthcare teams.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on medical equipment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless equipment operation.
  • Develop and maintain accurate records of work completed.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to resolve issues.

Qualifications

EDUCATION:

  • Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related field.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience servicing technical equipment.
  • Valid Driver's License; CBET certification preferred.
