Job Title: Software Developer-TS/SCI

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Developer-TS/SCI to join our team at Omm IT Solutions. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying software applications that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the development manager in requirements analysis and resource planning.
  • Collaborate with the development manager to design and develop software applications.
  • Manage code repositories and versions using MS Team Foundation Server (TFS).
  • Interpret client specifications and compile development requirements.
  • Produce functional design documents from development requirements.
  • Generate application wireframes, mockups, and prototypes.
  • Outline development timeframes, work schedules, and deliverable timelines.
  • Communicate development-related tasks effectively within the team and to the client.
  • Build test plans, test scripts, and manage unit testing and bug fixes.
  • Produce release management, deployments, and migration plans for test/production.
  • Produce post-deployment maintenance plans, changes, and update schedules.
  • Participate in and contribute to software development meetings.
  • Supervise and mentor junior web developers, analyzing areas of weakness, and scheduling training sessions accordingly.
  • Ensure software documentation remains updated.
Requirements:
  • BS Degree in Computer Science with 3-5 years of experience required.
  • Solid web application development experience.
  • Practical experience with content management systems.
  • Experience with wireframe and diagnostic tools.
  • Leadership and management skills.
  • Proficient in enterprise database environments.
  • Ability to solve complex problems and develop innovative solutions.
  • Excellent customer service and research abilities.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment through self-management of tasks, deliverables, and timelines.
  • Superb interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
