Job Summary:
Medical Director Services PC is seeking an experienced Podiatrist to provide medical services to our skilled nursing facilities throughout Kentucky. We are also open to discussing opportunities in other states.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality podiatric care to patients with conditions affecting the foot, ankle, and related structures.
- Diagnose, treat, or prescribe treatment of the foot, ankle, and other related structures using medical histories, physical examinations, x-rays, and laboratory test results.
- Prescribe medications, corrective devices, physical therapy, and appropriate methods of foot care.
- Advise patients about treatments and foot care techniques to prevent future problems.
- Record all diagnoses, treatments, and prescriptions.
- Refer patients to other physicians or specialists for consultation when necessary.
Requirements:
- Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from a school accredited by the Council of Podiatric Medical Education.
- Current and valid license to practice podiatric medicine in the state of application.
