Job Title: Vice President, Marketing Technology

At Targetbase, we're seeking a seasoned marketing technology professional to lead our marketing technology team. As Vice President, Marketing Technology, you'll be responsible for managing overall client satisfaction, project delivery, and resource planning for a portfolio of technology-oriented direct marketing clients and database marketing system production operations.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Client Management: Meet client commitments on-time and provide high-quality client-centric service.
  • Technology Solution Management: Maintain a high-quality technology solution as evidenced by solution audits and results.
  • Process Improvement: Identify solution improvements and efficiency to benefit clients and Targetbase, communicate changes with clients and teams, and manage the implementation of changes within the production schedule.
  • Resource Management: Effectively coordinate resources external to direct teams, collaborate with project leads to ensure resource and revenue forecasts are aligned, and manage open requisitions and shift resources across projects as needed.
  • Program Management: Understand, develop, and implement strong program management practices (Change Requests, Issue Management, Risk Management, and Decision Tracking) and champion them within the organization.
  • Communication: Communicate status, issues, and risks effectively to client team members.
  • Business Development: Accountable for meeting predetermined revenue objectives, up-selling, and margin targets while solidifying relationships with existing or new clients.
  • Sales and Delivery Strategy: Establish effective sales and delivery strategies, suggest new strategic projects and initiatives, and meet/exceed established client expectations with respect to quality and strategic thinking.
  • People Management: Manage career paths by coaching and mentoring direct and indirect reports, set and regularly review team strategic goals, and adjust them to stay in line with corporate goals.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business or a related field.
  • Experience: 10+ years of relevant experience, including client-facing duties.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with software implementations, Microsoft technologies (.net, VB.NET, C#), Visual Studio.NET 2010, XML, web services, and marketing technologies such as Unica, Adobe, and Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Leadership Skills: 7+ years of experience leading teams, demonstrated technology background in multiple disciplines, and ability to communicate advanced technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
What We Offer:

Targetbase is a hybrid company working 3 days a week in office and 2 days a week at home. We're looking for a candidate who is willing to be in office on required days and live in the Dallas/Ft Worth, TX area.
