Leidos is seeking a highly skilled Technical Network Specialist to support computer data communications systems. This role involves providing design specifications, testing and inspections for computer networks; planning and implementing upgrades; as well as analyzing and organizing corresponding hardware and software combined solutions through network modeling.

The Technical Network Specialist will be responsible for installing and maintaining client LAN/WAN devices, responding to and resolving incidents, demonstrating troubleshooting skills, and communicating with the team. The role also involves completing assigned tasks within Service Level Objectives/Agreements (SLOs/SLAs), drafting and implementing standard network change requests, and providing support to Tier III network engineers for incident management and projects.

This position requires strong technical skills, including experience with Layer 1 network protocols such as CAT5/6, SM/MM Fiber, Serial cables, and SFP, as well as Layer 2 network protocols such as VLANs, port security, and thin and thick configs. Additionally, the candidate should have experience with Layer 3 network protocols such as subnetting, OSPF, BGP, HSRP, MPLS, LSP, and GRE.

The Technical Network Specialist will also perform IOS upgrades for Cisco, Juniper, Brocade, and Foundry OS, and have experience with Visio, ServiceNow, and Confluence. A TS SCI clearance with a Poly is required, along with 10 years of relevant experience that can be a combination of work history and education.

This is a challenging role that requires strong technical skills, excellent communication and collaboration skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Leidos offers competitive compensation and benefits, including a salary range of $68,900.00 - $124,550.00 per year.
