Position Summary

Role Overview: The Patient Meal Services Coordinator at Compass Group is responsible for overseeing the efficient operation and customer satisfaction within the Food & Nutrition Services Department. This role serves as an entry-level management opportunity for those aspiring to build a career in the food service sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensuring high levels of patient and client satisfaction.
  • Offering menu options that accommodate prescribed dietary needs.
  • Collaborating with nursing staff to assess patient meal choices and delivery.
  • Addressing and resolving patient inquiries or complaints.
  • Participating in the assembly and delivery of patient meals.
  • Performing additional duties as required.

Required Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of experience in food service.
  • Familiarity with diverse food service operations.
  • Understanding of food trends, quality standards, sanitation, and presentation.
  • Strong supervisory, leadership, and communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including MS Office.
  • ServSafe Certification is advantageous.
