Position Summary

We are currently seeking a PRN Clinical Dietitian to enhance our Nutrition Team. This role is essential in providing tailored nutritional care to patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver medical nutrition therapy, including thorough nutrition assessments, dietary modifications, and educational interventions for diverse patient populations.
  • Adhere to all protocols as specified in the Company Diet Manual and Clinical Nutrition Policies & Procedures Manual.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory standards, including federal, state, and accreditation requirements, while maintaining confidentiality and patient rights.
  • Provide training and mentorship to patient services staff and interns as needed.
  • Engage in patient satisfaction initiatives, departmental meetings, and organization-wide Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement programs.

Qualifications

  • Registered Dietitian credential from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
  • State licensure as required by local regulations.
  • Preferred: Minimum of one year of experience in a hospital setting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, electronic medical records, diet office systems, and nutrient analysis software.
