Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Research Associate to join our Drug Metabolism and Pharmacokinetics team at the University of California, San Francisco. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing and auditing drug concentration data obtained using LC-MS, preparing reports based on analyzed and audited data, and contributing to the development of therapies for prion-based neurodegenerative diseases.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and audit drug concentration data obtained using LC-MS
  • Prepare reports based on analyzed and audited drug concentration data
  • Contribute to the development of therapies for prion-based neurodegenerative diseases
Requirements
  • BA/BS degree in any STEM field
  • Knowledge of basic techniques or methods required for the position
  • Experience using liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC-MS) to measure drug concentrations in tissue samples
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook, Sharepoint, Onedrive, Teams, Zoom
  • Ability to work as an effective and efficient team member, and to participate in team meetings and planning
