Principal Electrical Engineer - San Francisco, CA
About the Role:We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Electrical Engineer to join our team in San Francisco, CA. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems for our premium coffee gear products.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and develop electrical systems for our products, from concept to launch
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure electrical design meets product requirements
- Develop and drive design and functional validation testing for electrical components
- Collaborate with external partners and suppliers to ensure designs can be repeatedly produced at lowest cost
- Develop production and support documentation, including bills of material (BOMs)
- Expand and improve the team's capabilities, processes, and expertise
- MS or BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with 7+ years of hardware experience in consumer electronics, power tools, home appliances (or similar relevant industry)
- Product development from concept to validation to deployment
- Electrical schematic entry, PCB design, and layout
- Expert in debugging tools like oscilloscopes, multimeters, and logic analyzers
- Deep understanding of system integration, embedded system design, processor selection, sensor design, and low and high-speed digital data transfer
