Job Title: Respiratory Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Northwest Respiratory Services. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and support in home care and skilled nursing facility environments.

Job Summary:

The Respiratory Therapist will be responsible for delivering, setting up, and providing instruction on home medical equipment, including oxygen concentrators, liquid oxygen systems, BiPAP, CPAP, overnight and continuous oximetry, humidity systems, suction, tracheostomy tubes, and pediatric set-ups. You will also provide routine equipment maintenance, schedule and conduct staff in-services, and serve as a resource to referrals, physicians, clients, and NRS staff.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver and set up home medical equipment, including oxygen concentrators, liquid oxygen systems, BiPAP, CPAP, overnight and continuous oximetry, humidity systems, suction, tracheostomy tubes, and pediatric set-ups.
  • Provide routine equipment maintenance, including proper use, safety, cleaning, and continuing education to clients.
  • Schedule and conduct staff in-services on respiratory equipment for skilled nursing facilities as requested.
  • Serve as a resource to referrals, physicians, clients, and NRS staff, assisting with troubleshooting of equipment.
Requirements:
  • Current License Registered Nurse in the State of the Branch location and in other state(s) as required based on territory served.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Ability to pass a motor vehicle records check and drug test.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and customer service skills.
  • Proficient in Office 365.
  • A desire to work with the public and help others obtain a better quality of life.
