Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Avamere Health Services. As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct routine checks on residents to ensure their personal care needs are being met in accordance with their wishes.
  • Review patient care plans daily to determine if changes in the resident's daily care routine have been made.
  • Inform the nurse supervisor of any changes in the resident's condition.
  • Assist residents with daily needs, including preparation for activities and social programs, and transporting residents to/from appointments.
  • Create and maintain a warm, patient, and enthusiastic atmosphere, fostering a calm and cheerful environment.
  • Ensure residents' rooms are ready for receiving and help residents feel comfortable.
  • Participate in facility surveys by authorized government agencies.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all resident care information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
  • Effectively communicate necessary resident information to charge nurses, director of nursing, and/or administrator.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant in this state.
  • Passion for caregiving and enhancing the quality of life for our residents.
