Key Responsibilities
  • Construct and fabricate dental prosthetic appliances, including dentures, crowns, and bridges.

Requirements
  • One year of specialized experience in dental laboratory technology, including experience with impression materials, plasters, stones, hydrocolloids, waxes, metals, acrylics, porcelain, and similar materials.
  • Experience with laboratory equipment, such as hand tools, dental lathes, engines, and hand pieces, furnaces, casting machines, presses, flasks, and related equipment.
  • Knowledge of oral anatomy and physiology, including the ability to identify and understand the functions of different oral structures.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with minimal supervision.
Working Conditions

This position requires long periods of standing, sitting, and bending, as well as the ability to lift plaster boxes weighing up to 30 pounds. The work environment involves regular exposure to potential hazards, including plaster dust, fire, chemical exposure, and communicable diseases.
