About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CT Rad Imaging Technician to join our Radiology department on a per-diem basis. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing patients for CT and X-ray procedures, collecting relevant information, and ensuring accurate completion of these procedures.

- Perform all CT and X-ray procedures with precision and attention to detail.
- Monitor patients' conditions and provide timely interventions as needed.
- Transfer and position patients safely and securely.
- Prioritize radiation safety and adhere to federal standards and ALARA policies.
- Operate electronic information systems efficiently and accurately.
- Compile and maintain accurate records to expedite results.
- Administer contrast media as required and according to established protocols.
- Participate in continuing education activities to enhance knowledge and skills in CT and meet ARRT certification requirements.
- Contribute to quality control and quality improvement initiatives.
- Previous experience in Radiology is required; one year of dedicated CT experience is preferred.
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology; ARRT eligible at time of hire.
- BLS certification required; ARRT certification in CT within 12 months of hire is strongly recommended.

The estimated salary for this role is $65,000 - $85,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
