Senior Living General Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Living General Manager to join our team at Sunrise Senior Living. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for the overall leadership, management, and success of our community.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage a team of professionals to deliver exceptional care and services to our residents.
- Develop and implement strategies to drive business growth, improve operational efficiency, and enhance the overall resident experience.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and implement policies, procedures, and programs that align with our mission and values.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with residents, families, and external partners to promote our community and services.
- Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to ensure the financial health and sustainability of our community.
- Lead and participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the resident experience and drive business growth.
- College degree preferred; degree and management experience may be required per state/provincial requirements.
- Administrators License / certification may be required per state/provincial requirements.
- Prior General Manager/Administrator experience focused on growing both top and bottom lines; required length determined by type of community.
- Previous management experience including hiring, coaching, performance management, daily operations supervision, and leading a team through change.
- Previous sales experience preferred, including building customer relationships, and resolving customer concerns.
- Passion for working with seniors.
- Demonstration of success in managing operating expenses.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities effectively.
- Ability to delegate assignments to the appropriate individuals.
- Excellent written and verbal skills for effective communication and the ability to facilitate small group presentations.
- Proficient in organizational and time management skills.
- Demonstrates good judgment and problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Demonstration of proficiency in computer skills, Microsoft Office & Sunrise applications with the ability to learn new applications.
