Job Title: Controller

Thompson Fabricating Inc is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial and production aspects of our business.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate and direct budgeting, procurement, and investment activities.
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and analysis.
  • Establish and maintain financial controls to prevent fraud and errors.
  • Provide financial guidance and support to management and staff.
  • Collaborate with the production team to ensure efficient and effective production processes.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce costs.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or a related field.
  • Proven work experience in accounting or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of financial data analysis and reporting.
  • Knowledge of payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable functions.
  • Previous experience with ERP implementation and cloud-based software systems.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
