Job Title: Financial Controller

Job Summary:

Thompson Fabricating Inc is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing strategic financial guidance to senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and implement financial plans, forecasts, and budgets to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports to senior leadership and external stakeholders.
  • Financial Controls: Establish and maintain effective financial controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Financial Leadership: Provide strategic financial guidance to senior leadership and support the development of business strategies.
  • Production Oversight: Oversee the purchasing function and assist the production team to ensure delivery of high-quality products that meet or exceed customer expectations.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, or related field.
  • Experience: Proven work experience in accounting or a related field, with a strong understanding of financial data analysis and reporting.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
