Dental Assistant

Hollywood Park Dental is seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to provide exceptional patient care and support to our clinical team.

Responsibilities:
As a Dental Assistant, you will be responsible for greeting and welcoming patients, conducting thorough reviews of patient health history, taking and processing x-rays, and providing superior chairside assistance to supported dentists. You will also be responsible for managing supply and inventory levels, preparing treatment rooms, and partnering with the providers and team to implement Heartland Dental systems and maximize office workflow.
Qualifications:
We are looking for a motivated and organized individual with a working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology. Experience working in a fast-paced and customer-centric environment is a plus. If required under the state dental practice act, dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification is a requirement. Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential for this role.
Physical Requirements:
The successful candidate will be able to perform essential duties satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodation. Prolonged periods of sitting and standing are required, as well as the ability to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times. Availability to attend virtual training sessions periodically throughout the year is also a requirement.
