Job Overview:
At Hollywood Park Dental, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our dental care team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dentists in delivering high-quality dental services.

Responsibilities:
Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:
• Greeting and welcoming patients, ensuring their comfort and providing education throughout treatment
• Conducting thorough reviews of patient health histories to provide quality care
• Taking and processing x-rays and other diagnostic assessments
• Providing superior chairside assistance to supported dentists during various procedures
• Utilizing Dentrix for patient scheduling and record keeping
• Preparing treatment rooms with strict adherence to safety protocols and following OSHA & CDC recommendations
• Managing supply and inventory levels, as well as placing and expediting orders as needed
• Partnering with providers and team members to implement Heartland Dental systems and maximize office workflow

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:
• A working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
• Experience working in a fast-paced and customer-centric environment
• If required under the state dental practice act, dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

Physical Requirements:
This role requires the ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation. You will need to be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times and be available to attend virtual training sessions periodically throughout the year.
