Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting during a variety of treatment procedures
  • Taking dental x-rays
  • Setting up and breaking down operatory post-treatment
  • Executing patient handoffs and monitoring patient flow within the practice
  • Managing infection control, preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment
  • Educating patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain good oral health
  • Completing denture soft relines and manufacturing temporary crowns
  • Performing quality impressions and bite registrations
  • Performing digital intraoral scans
  • Supporting patient charting for doctors
  • Performing various office tasks as necessary
  • Collaborating with the practice team to ensure optimum patient satisfaction
