Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Soiled Linen Separator to join our team at our Atlanta Location Healthcare Laundry facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for separating, folding, and distributing clean linen, inspecting clean linen to ensure quality standards, and working within established productivity and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform tasks in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures
  • Separate, fold, and properly distribute clean linen
  • Inspect clean linen to ensure all quality standards have been met
  • Pouch and label sterile product utilizing the heat-sealing machine
  • Work within established productivity and quality standards
  • Make recommendations to facility management for methods of improvement
  • Mentor and train fellow associates after mastery of tasks
  • Ability to read and understand all Standard Operating Procedures
  • Keep workstation neat and clean
Requirements
  • High School Education, GED, and formal education/training preferred
  • Good analytical skills to determine number of carts required for orders
  • 1-2 years of experience in manufacturing, production, or service industry
  • Ability to work in a noisy fast-paced environment
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, twist, reach, and stack individual items from machine for long periods
  • Ability to lift up to 100 pounds
  • Ability to push or pull a cart that may weigh 100 pounds
  • Demonstrated customer service and organization skills
