Position Overview:
The Room Attendant plays a crucial role in ensuring that guest accommodations are clean, inviting, and well-maintained while delivering attentive and courteous service to all guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms in accordance with established standards.
  • Complete all pre-cleaning tasks, including preparation of guest supplies, cleaning materials, and linens for housekeeping cart setup.
  • Remove all waste and soiled linens from guest rooms and hallways.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in hallways, public areas, and storage closets.
  • Restock housekeeping cleaning cart in preparation for the following day.
  • Replenish cleaning chemical supplies as needed.
  • Report any missing items from guest rooms to the Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.
  • Immediately notify the Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager of any maintenance issues.
  • Handle lost and found items according to established procedures.
  • Ensure overall guest satisfaction through quality service.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent; experience in a hotel or related field is preferred.
  • Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
  • Capability to stand for the duration of the shift.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact in a friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner with all levels of employees and guests.
