A-Line Staffing Solutions is seeking a skilled Dispensing Pharmacist to join our team. As a Dispensing Pharmacist, you will be responsible for dispensing medications, counseling nursing facility staff on prescription and over-the-counter medications, and advising physicians about medication therapy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dispense medications accurately and efficiently
  • Counsel nursing facility staff on medication use and provide information on products
  • Advise physicians on medication therapy
  • Establish and maintain storage and record-keeping systems for medications
  • Promote open communication between internal and external customers
  • Support customers after-hours, weekends, and holidays through on-call support
  • Assist in promoting communication and adequate information flow throughout the pharmacy
  • Assist in the development of quality improvements and prescription order accuracy

Requirements:

  • Active Pharmacy License in the state of employment
  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm. D.
  • Long-term care pharmacy experience as a Pharmacist preferred
