The University of Texas at Austin, College of Education, Department of Special Education, is seeking a tenure-track assistant professor in the area of emotional and behavioral disorders. We are looking for a colleague who will conduct research, teaching, and mentorship on interventions and prevention-oriented approaches for students with emotional and behavioral disorders.
Our department has a strong research focus and is committed to advancing equity and eliminating disparities in health and education. We are seeking a candidate who will contribute to our mission and has a strong potential for research excellence, securing external grants, and teaching coursework related to intervention and prevention-oriented systems.
The successful candidate will have a Ph.D. in special education, school psychology, or a closely related field, and a demonstrated record of scholarly leadership, teaching, and securing extramural research funding. Experience in teaching and mentoring undergraduate and graduate students from diverse backgrounds is also essential.
