Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Contract Manager with 3-5 years of experience in substation estimating. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bid preparation, contract creation, and advanced Excel functionalities. This role requires a proactive individual capable of managing labor studies and ensuring project timelines are accurately estimated.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Bid Preparation and Contract Management: Prepare and submit accurate bids for substation projects, and develop and manage contracts in accordance with project requirements.
  • Labor Studies and Project Estimation: Conduct detailed labor studies to determine project timelines, and utilize advanced Excel functions, including V-lookups and Pivot tables, to analyze data and support project estimations.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure accurate and timely delivery of estimates, and adapt to changing project requirements and provide flexible solutions.
Qualifications:
  • Education and Licensing: A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Construction Management is preferred.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in substation estimating, with proficiency in bid preparation and contract creation, and strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Work Environment:
  • Candidates must be open to working overtime, with a typical work week of 50 hours, but this may increase depending on project demands.
  • Relocation may be required, depending on project needs.
