About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Placement Specialist to join our Business Insurance team at US012 Marsh & McLennan Agency LLC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our clients and driving business growth through strategic placement and risk management.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with our Placement Team to develop and implement placement strategies for assigned accounts, providing expert guidance and support to ensure optimal results.
- Collaborate with our Service Team to prepare and submit proposals, ensuring all necessary documentation is complete and accurate.
- Provide market insights and recommendations to our Marketing Team and Producers, helping to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Negotiate terms and conditions with carriers to secure the best possible coverage and pricing for our clients.
- Assist with analyzing coverage options, comparing quotes from multiple markets, and reviewing existing client insurance programs to identify areas for improvement.
- Communicate effectively with clients, carriers, and internal stakeholders to manage expectations and ensure seamless execution of placement processes.
- Process and follow up on outstanding documentation to ensure timely completion of placement processes.
- Request and oversee follow-up for changes from underwriters, reviewing coverage specifications to ensure accuracy.
- Support new and renewal placements, providing strategic guidance to clients and internal stakeholders to drive retention and growth.
Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in insurance placement or a related field.
- Proven track record of delivering exceptional results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, carriers, and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and teamwork.
- Strong market knowledge and understanding of industry trends and developments.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality results.
