Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Refrigeration Technician to join our installation and repair team. As a Refrigeration Technician, you will be responsible for processing and completing work orders, installing new refrigeration systems, troubleshooting mechanical failures, and performing equipment maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and complete work orders in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Contact clients to ascertain their equipment needs and provide expert advice on refrigeration system upgrades.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and compliance schematics to ensure accurate installation and maintenance of refrigeration systems.
  • Install climate control systems, refrigeration units, and beverage equipment to meet client specifications.
  • Observe and test newly installed systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Troubleshoot refrigeration equipment failures to minimize downtime and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Maintain stock levels of replacement parts and materials to ensure prompt completion of work orders.
  • Replace worn seals, outer shells, and worn-out motors to ensure optimal system performance.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience as a refrigeration technician.
  • HVAC certification.
  • Braising and soldering skills.
  • Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and compliance schematics.
  • Advanced mechanical and diagnostic skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions.
  • Physically fit and able to lift heavy equipment.
