**Campus Overview**
Soin Medical Center has been serving residents of Greene, Western Clark, Eastern Montgomery, and Miami counties since 2012. Conveniently located off I-675 in Beavercreek, it provides a variety of healthcare services and is home to 4 accredited Centers of Excellence, including hernia and robotic surgery. In 2020, Soin received an 'A' from the Leapfrog Group, a national patient safety watchdog, ranking among the safest hospitals in the United States. It has also received 4 Star Baby-Friendly Hospital status by the Ohio Hospital Association.
**Department Overview**
The 4S Med-Surg Unit specializes in Urology and is a 30-bed unit looking to onboard team members who are motivated to be a part of a culture where we foster positivity, accountability, innovation, and genuine compassion. Our staffing ratio is currently 6:1 RN/NA partner model.
**Responsibilities & Requirements**
As a Registered Nurse, you will utilize the nursing process in providing nursing care to patients in all settings in collaboration with other healthcare providers. You will be accountable for your own professional development and practice within the scope of care defined by law. You will also act as a patient advocate for the delivery of safe care, including delegation of care and participation in performance and practice improvement activities.
**Qualifications**
Applicants must have a licensed in the state of Ohio as a Registered Nurse. A graduate of an accredited school of nursing is required if they are a new graduate nurse. A Bachelor of Science in nursing is preferred (must be completed within 5 years of hire). A nurse who is returning to the acute care setting after five or more years may be required to provide evidence of successful completion of a refresher course. BLS certification is also required, as well as ACLS, NRP, and PALS as determined by unit scope of practice.
