We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse Aide II to join our team at Nurses and More, Inc. In this rewarding role, you will provide exceptional care to special needs children in a school setting.

Job Summary:

The Nurse Aide II will be responsible for providing individualized care to students with unique needs, including monitoring vital signs, assisting with transfers, and administering feedings. You will also play a key role in maintaining the health and well-being of our students by documenting their progress and observing for any signs of discomfort or pain.

About the Role:

  • Monitors vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration) and takes appropriate action as needed.
  • Assists with transfers and ensures the safety and comfort of our students during these procedures.
  • Administers feedings, including G-Tube or Bolus feedings, and maintains accurate records of medication administration.
  • Provides toileting assistance and catheterization as needed, while maintaining confidentiality and discretion.
  • Assists students with activities of daily living, such as bathing and dressing, using hand-over-hand assistance when necessary.
  • Documents all patient interactions and observations in our electronic medical record system.

Requirements:

  • Must have six months experience within the last year or one year experience within the last three years.
  • NC Board of Nursing Nurse Aide II Listing approval required.
  • Certified CNAI in NC and listed on the NC Nurse Aide Registry in good standing.
  • CPR certification is mandatory; online courses are not accepted.
  • Tube feeding and/or catheterization experience is essential.
