Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist II to join our team at Atrium Health. This role involves performing MRI scans and related procedures, working closely with Radiologists and other healthcare professionals.

Key Job Functions

  1. Verify patient orders, examine requests, and refer to Radiologists as necessary.
  2. Provide exceptional patient care, ensuring proper identification and assisting during procedures.
  3. Evaluate image quality, consult with Radiologists, and recognize abnormal anatomy.
  4. Maintain accurate records, inform nursing staff of any changes in patient condition, and initiate life support measures when required.

Qualifications

  • A degree from an accredited two-year AMA-approved program in Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology.
  • ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology, ARRT or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine with advanced registry from the ARMRIT or ARRT in MRI within one year of hire.
  • Current CPR certification.

Working Conditions

This role requires moderate to heavy physical efforts in lifting and moving patients, equipment, and supplies.

Estimated Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per annum, based on experience and location.
