At Saint-Gobain Glass, we're seeking a seasoned Compliance Counsel to join our team. As a key member of our compliance department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our operations align with relevant laws and regulations.
About the RoleWe offer an excellent compensation package, including a salary range of $170,000 - $220,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we provide a comprehensive benefits program, which includes health insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off.
Job DescriptionThe Sr. Compliance Counsel will be responsible for:
- Providing expert advice on compliance matters, including risk management, policy creation, and internal investigations.
- Identifying potential areas of compliance vulnerability and developing corrective action plans.
- Conducting internal investigations into sensitive matters such as fraud, theft, conflicts of interest, and harassment.
- Assisting in the development and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures to ensure a first line of defense.
- Reviewing and issuing approvals for Gift and T&E Policy exceptions, IT Snooping Policy Approvals, and providing counsel on other policy interpretations.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
- 7-10 years of compliance experience, preferably in a matrixed business environment.
- Prosecutorial experience, preferably at the Department of Justice, is strongly preferred.
- Expertise in data governance and management, privacy, internal investigations, anti-trust, anti-money laundering, and anti-bribery and corruption.
