The In-House Counsel will play a pivotal role in providing legal support and strategic guidance to the company's operations. This position involves managing legal risks, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting business initiatives.

 

Job Description

This role requires an exceptional lawyer who can provide expert advice on fintech-related issues, including payments, digital currencies, blockchain technology, and financial services.

 

  • Provide expert legal guidance on fintech-related matters
  • Assist in developing and implementing legal strategies to support business goals and mitigate risks
  • Advise on legal and regulatory matters affecting the company's products, services, and operations
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
  • Liaise with regulatory authorities and manage regulatory inquiries and examinations
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, including partnership agreements and service agreements
  • Develop and maintain contract templates and processes

 

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

 

  • Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school and active bar license
  • Minimum of 3 years of legal experience, with a focus on fintech and financial services law
  • Exceptional judgment and organizational skills
  • Strong communication skills and strategic acumen
