Job Summary

KIK Consumer Products is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Electrician to join our team. As an Industrial Maintenance Electrician, you will be responsible for performing electrical and mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance on facility and plant equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Electrical and Mechanical Repairs: Perform adjustments and repairs to PLC controlled equipment, and responsible for electrical and mechanical repair and preventative maintenance of facility and plant equipment.
  • Installation and Troubleshooting: Install, troubleshoot, and repair low and high voltage industrial electrical and control systems for packaging lines, facilities, and plant support equipment.
  • Wiring and Compliance: Maintain wiring to NEC standards and ensure any new wiring is within compliance. Upgrade outdated or unsafe electrical installations across the plant.
  • Emergency and Scheduled Maintenance: Perform electrical emergency and scheduled maintenance tasks across the plant.
  • Project Management: Ensure assigned projects are completed timely, correctly, safely, and to the highest quality standard.
  • Housekeeping: Maintain a clean working environment upon completion of assigned projects.
  • Compliance and Safety: Comply with plant safety, quality, GMPs, current standard practices, and all other plant rules, policies, and procedures.
  • Contractor Coordination: May be required to work directly with contractors regarding new or existing electrical issues.
  • Mechanical and Pneumatic Systems: Maintain PM and repair of mechanical driver equipment, pneumatic systems, and hydraulic systems, including flow meters, density meters, temperature sensors, gas sensors, etc.
Requirements
  • Industrial Electrician Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience as an industrial electrician.
  • PLC Programming and Diagnostic: Minimum 3 years of experience in PLC programming and diagnostic.
  • Education: A minimum of a high school education or its equivalent.
  • Attendance and Communication: Excellent attendance record (less than 5 points) and ability to communicate effectively.
  • Manufacturing Environment: Ability to perform in a manufacturing environment, including the ability to lift 50+ lbs.
  • Interpersonal and Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent interpersonal, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Time Management and Organization: Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks effectively.
