Job Overview:
ASRC Federal Professional Services is in search of a proactive individual with expertise in Operations Security (OPSEC) program oversight to enhance the Security Office's efforts. The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in managing OPSEC initiatives by formulating OPSEC policies and facilitating coordination of OPSEC activities across various commands.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and sustain the OPSEC program for the organization.
  • Conduct thorough OPSEC evaluations, assessments, and surveys in line with established OPSEC protocols.
  • Develop and refine the Critical Information and Indicators List (CIIL).
  • Oversee and update OPSEC training programs for military, civilian, and contractor personnel.
  • Establish and lead the OPSEC working group.
  • Draft official memorandums and support documentation.
  • Create policies related to identity management and social media awareness.
  • Engage in activities aimed at mitigating Insider Threats.
  • Collaborate with other security initiatives within the organization.

The OPSEC Coordinator will require regular access to classified systems to fulfill job responsibilities. Remote work options are limited.

Qualifications:

  • Possess the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to effectively achieve the objectives of the assigned mission.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing correspondence, tracking tasks, and developing a suspense system.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally.
  • Must hold a current active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.

Education and Experience:

  • OPSEC Program Manager certification (Interagency OPSEC Support Staff OPSE-2390 or equivalent).
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in OPSEC program management or coordination.
  • Strong time management and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.

Preferred Skills:

  • 1-2 years of experience in OPSEC program management within a large organization.
  • Experience in drafting and processing policy documents.
  • Familiarity with DoD task management systems.
  • Knowledge of operations within an organizational Insider Threat hub.
