The responsibilities of the cocktail staff encompass engaging with guests, taking drink and food orders, offering recommendations, processing transactions, and ensuring that all guest needs are met for a memorable visit.

Cocktail Service Staff Responsibilities:

  • Engaging with guests, taking orders, serving food and beverages, processing payments, and promptly addressing their needs.
  • Efficiently managing multiple tables and tasks simultaneously.
  • Clearing and sanitizing tables.
  • Assisting with opening and closing procedures, including ingredient preparation and restocking supplies like straws and napkins.
  • Gaining knowledge about food and drink offerings.
  • Verifying guest identification to ensure compliance with age restrictions for alcohol service.

Cocktail Service Staff Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience is preferred, particularly in fine dining settings.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
  • A friendly and attentive demeanor.
  • Knowledge of cocktails and alcoholic beverages.
  • Must be at least 18 years old to serve alcohol.
  • A commitment to providing high-quality service to guests.
  • Adherence to all local, state, and federal liquor regulations.
  • Willingness to work during peak hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
