Patient Access Coordinator

Job Summary
The Patient Access Representative plays a vital role in providing exceptional patient care at Women's Care. As the first point of contact for patients, this role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet patients and visitors, guiding them to the appropriate areas as needed.
- Collect and verify patient demographics, updating patient profiles as necessary.
- Process payments and assist patients with minor billing concerns.
- Scan relevant information into the EMR system, ensuring HIPAA compliance.
- Respond to non-medical patient inquiries via phone and email.
- Embody the Women's Care mission and core values, demonstrating compassion, empathy, and respect in every interaction.
- Comply with all HIPAA regulations and guidelines.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Preferably one year of experience in a medical office or healthcare setting, with OBGYN experience a plus.
- General knowledge of medical terminology is ideal.
- Preferred experience working with electronic medical records systems, with eCW experience a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Dependability, reliability, and punctuality are essential.
