About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Coder to join our team on a full-time basis. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for accurately coding patient data in an acute care setting.

Estimated Salary: $80,000 per annum (negotiable based on experience)

This role is ideal for individuals with a strong background in medical coding, particularly in acute care settings. You will be working remotely and must reside in one of the following states: Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Kansas, Maine, North Carolina, South Carolina, Vermont, or Virginia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coding patient data accurately and efficiently in accordance with industry standards
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of coding guidelines and regulations
  • Collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and comprehensive coding
Requirements
  • Minimum 4 years' experience in acute care inpatient coding
  • High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Current RHIA, RHIT, or CCS certification
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision
