Position Overview:

The Customer Service Specialist plays a crucial role in managing and facilitating all service requirements requested by customers. This position serves as a vital link between our DAR PRO service facilities and our Restaurant Services clientele, ensuring exceptional and personalized customer support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive service assistance to Restaurant Services clients.
  • Respond to customer inquiries via the centralized service line.
  • Manage all communications regarding service needs for customer locations.
  • Investigate and resolve service requests efficiently.
  • Offer troubleshooting guidance as necessary.
  • Coordinate service and support requirements with DAR PRO facilities.
  • Monitor and communicate service expectations to guarantee timely service delivery.
  • Oversee equipment installation tracking.
  • Maintain an internal database with up-to-date client information.
  • Assist in updating multiple spreadsheets and entering data into relevant systems.
  • Collaborate with the Inside Sales Team.
  • Participate in after-hours client support (additional compensation applicable).
  • Manage special projects as assigned.
  • Provide additional departmental support as directed.

Qualifications:

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Minimum age of 18 years.
  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of customer service experience in a service-oriented environment.
  • Availability for 1 weekend day shift and 4 weekday shifts.

Preferred Qualifications:

Ideal candidates will possess:

  • An Associate's or Bachelor's degree.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective issue resolution.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, particularly Microsoft Access and Excel.
  • Self-motivation and reliability with excellent communication abilities.
  • Problem-solving skills to provide effective solutions to clients.
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks independently.
  • Bilingual capabilities (English/Spanish) are highly desirable.

Physical Requirements:

Frequent activities include sitting and reaching with hands and arms. Occasional tasks may involve walking, standing, balancing, stooping, bending, and kneeling. Lifting or moving up to 10 lbs may be required occasionally.

Work Environment:

This position is primarily office-based, with occasional responsibilities at customer locations or other sites.
