**Job Summary**

The LPN in our Rheumatology Clinic performs essential nursing duties as regulated by the Oklahoma Nurse Practice Act, contributing to patient care plans and administering medications with a focus on safety.

  • Performs duties of a licensed practical nurse as prescribed by the Oklahoma Nurse Practice Act.
  • Contributes to the development of a plan of care and follows through with such plan for selected patients.
  • Administers medication with a high degree of safety and accuracy.
  • Maintains the exam rooms and work environment.
  • Documents nursing care and activities.
  • Assists with patient care and monitors patients during procedures.
  • Assists with the training of other staff.

**Requirements**

  • High school diploma or equivalent and completion of a vocational program for Licensed Practical Nurse.
  • Prefer at least 1-2 year experience in a clinical or physician-office setting, emergency room and/or a hospital setting that provides patient care. Experience in office clerical activities desirable.

**Qualifications**

  • Current LPN license from the State of Oklahoma or active Multistate LPN license is required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training is required during orientation prior to providing patient care.

**Compensation and Benefits**

We offer competitive compensation and benefits, including a salary range of $17.39-$28.40 per hour, depending on previous work experience.
