Surgical Care Specialist

The Norman Regional Health System is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join its team in the Surgical Unit. With up to 32 beds, this unit provides care for patients with both surgical and nonsurgical conditions.
Job DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced or new graduate RN who can deliver safe and effective clinical care in a fast-paced environment. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing care plans, implementing interventions, and evaluating responses to treatment.
Collaboration with other healthcare professionals is essential in providing the best possible treatment for our patients. Our ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic setting, has a strong willingness to learn, and understands how to deliver high-quality care as part of a team.
Responsibilities:- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
- Analyze assessment data to inform care decisions
- Establish goals, plan care strategies, and implement priorities
- Delegate tasks safely and provide direct and indirect nursing care
- Evaluate responses to interventions and perform additional nursing functions as needed
To be successful in this role, you must have a Diploma or Associate's degree (ADN) required, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), or Master's of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred. Previous experience in the healthcare field is also preferred.
You must be a current Oklahoma Registered Nurse license or hold an active Multistate RN license. Basic Life Support (BLS) training or retraining is required during orientation prior to providing patient care.

Salary and BenefitsThe estimated salary range for this position is $27.74 - $45.46 per hour, depending on previous work experience. Evening differential is $2.50 per hour, night differential is $3.00 per hour, and weekend differential is $3.00 per hour. A sign-on bonus of up to $10,000 is also available.
