We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Professional to join our team at Costello's ace Hardware in Great Neck, NY. As a Sales Professional, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and sales support to our customers.

The estimated salary for this position is $17.50 - $19.50 per hour, depending on experience.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Sell hardware and related products to customers and assist with product demos and training.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor and stockroom.
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently, including handling cash, credit card transactions, and returns.
  • Participate in daily huddle meetings and contribute to team goals and objectives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher preferred.
  • Previous retail or sales experience preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 60 pounds, and move merchandise as needed.
