Position Overview

As a Senior Business Analyst - SDLC / QNXT at Gainwell Technologies, you will leverage your expertise to assist our clients in enhancing the health and well-being of the communities they serve. Join a team that is passionate about developing innovative solutions to tackle some of the most significant challenges in healthcare. This role will serve as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, focusing on identifying, prioritizing, and executing systems projects within your designated areas of responsibility. You will manage projects of medium to high complexity using a standardized system development life cycle methodology, which includes requirements gathering and analysis, business design, requirements traceability, testing strategies, defect resolution, and post-implementation follow-up. The Business Analyst must possess a comprehensive understanding of business functions, processes, and controls from an end-user perspective and effectively align business needs with the necessary system capabilities. Here are the specifics of this role.

Your Contributions to Our Mission

  • Maintain a thorough understanding of current business challenges, objectives, and strategies within your assigned area, identifying opportunities to effectively apply technology to enhance existing or develop new business capabilities.
  • Collaborate directly with business users to define project scope and objectives that accurately reflect end-user needs.
  • Engage in the elicitation, documentation, analysis, and validation of business processes, systems, and requirements.
  • Convert high-level business requirements into detailed specifications using mature methods, processes, and tools.
  • Coordinate with fellow business analysts to ensure cohesive business design across all impacted areas.
  • Create as-is and to-be business process models.
  • Support requirements management and change management initiatives.
  • Ensure timely and accurate updates to all relevant business documentation.
  • Assist technical teams in translating business requirements into robust technical designs.
  • Support testing teams to ensure that test plans and cases comprehensively address business requirements.
  • Effectively communicate project status, risks, issues, and constraints to project management.
Qualifications We Seek
  • Bachelor's degree with a focus on analytical disciplines (e.g., Computer Science, Finance, Mathematics, Economics, etc.).
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to engage with a diverse range of professionals at all organizational levels.
  • 5+ years of experience in the Medicaid sector, supporting business processes and/or technology.
  • 1-2 years of experience with QNXT is highly advantageous.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
