Como A&P Mechanic II, serás responsable de llevar a cabo el mantenimiento rutinario y las inspecciones mayores en aeronaves corporativas. La resolución de problemas, reparación y modificación de componentes de aeronaves son parte de tus responsabilidades. Además, realizarás la extracción e reinstalación de motores, verificaciones operativas, chequeos de fugas y apoyo en las pruebas de motores.
Responsabilidades:
- Usar juicio sólido y aptitud técnica para tomar decisiones sobre mantenimiento, secuencia y técnicas, así como resolución de discrepancias.
- Retirar e reinstalar motores de aeronaves propulsadas por turbofan.
- Asistir en las verificaciones operativas y pruebas de motores para asegurar la aeronavegabilidad antes de la salida.
- Inspeccionar aeronaves de acuerdo con los manuales de mantenimiento ligero o pesado del fabricante.
- Evaluar componentes retirados para determinar su servicio y documentar discrepancias.
- Diagnosticar y reparar todos los sistemas de fuselaje según sea necesario (hidráulicos, tren de aterrizaje, etc.).
- Realizar sellado de tanques de combustible en aeronaves.
- Documentar todo el trabajo realizado de manera clara, concisa y precisa.
- Completar boletines de servicio, cartas de reparación y directivas de aeronavegabilidad según sea necesario.
- Leer e interpretar procedimientos de manuales de mantenimiento, planos, manuales técnicos y diagramas esquemáticos cuando sea necesario.
- Conocer, entender, seguir, promover y mejorar continuamente las políticas y procedimientos de la empresa.
- Utilizar herramientas manuales, instrumentos de medición de precisión, medidores y equipos de prueba de calibración.
- Observar todas las normas de seguridad, medio ambiente y limpieza general.
- Pueden realizarse otras tareas según lo requiera el departamento.
- Autorización para trabajar en los EE. UU.
- Licencia válida de FAA aprobada para Estructura y Potencia (A&P).
- Mínimo de dos (2) años de experiencia como mecánico.
- Capacidad y experiencia para ser elegible para adquirir el estatus de autoridad de inspección delegada.
- Experiencia en aviación corporativa preferida en: Dassault Falcon Jet, Bombardier, Gulfstream y Falcon.
- Formación en aviación preferida, que puede incluir formación militar, academia aeronáutica o formación en escuela técnica y/o un título asociado en aviación.
- Experiencia en aviación general preferida.
- Capacidad mecánica y técnica comprobada.
- Experiencia demostrada en el uso de una variedad de herramientas manuales y/o eléctricas.
- Habilidades analíticas necesarias para realizar diagnósticos mecánicos complejos.
- Excelentes habilidades de comunicación, tanto verbales como escritas.
- Capacidad para levantar hasta 50 libras, caminar, doblarse, estirarse y escalar escaleras.
- Capacidad para pensar con claridad y comunicarse inteligentemente por teléfono y en persona.
- Capacidad para manipular equipos de todos los tamaños, herramientas, teclados de computadora y teléfonos.
- Capacidad para trabajar en espacios confinados.
- Capacidad para estar de pie sobre superficies duras durante largos períodos de tiempo.
- Capacidad para ver y realizar inspecciones visuales.
- Capacidad para escuchar y detectar fuentes de problemas.
- Excelentes habilidades de coordinación mano-ojo.
