Job Opportunity:

Cable One is seeking a skilled Field Technician to join our team. As a Field Technician, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining customer service drops or outlets in residential and business properties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and maintain customer service drops or outlets in residential and business properties.
  • Use electronic test equipment and online diagnostic tools to troubleshoot and repair reception performance issues.
  • Ensure proper upstream and downstream signal levels at each termination on the customer's premises.
  • Suggest upgrades of existing services and educate customers on their new/existing equipment.
  • Perform other duties as needed to drive our Purpose, fulfill our Brand Principles, and abide by our Organization's Value.
Requirements:
  • A good driving record and a valid driver's license in the state you are applying.
  • Flexibility to work overtime and on-call as needed.
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to listen to customers and present solutions in a positive manner.
  • Ability to work in small and confined areas, lift up to 80 lbs., work on a ladder, and work in all weather conditions.
  • Demonstrated customer service or related experience and/or training.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Regular and predictable attendance is required.
