Cable One, a leading provider of telecommunications services, is seeking a seasoned Senior Field Technician to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and ensuring the reliability of our services.

Job Summary

This is a hands-on, customer-facing role that requires a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for providing outstanding customer service. As a Senior Field Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing our services in residential and commercial properties, ensuring that our customers receive the best possible experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and maintain cable and internet services in residential and commercial properties, ensuring high-quality installations and minimizing downtime.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on existing equipment, using electronic test equipment and online diagnostic tools to troubleshoot and diagnose issues.
  • Work with customers to understand their needs and provide personalized solutions, ensuring that their expectations are met and exceeded.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex issues and ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior technicians, sharing your expertise and experience to help them develop their skills.
Requirements
  • A minimum of three years of experience in a technical role, preferably in the telecommunications industry.
  • Strong technical knowledge of cable and internet services, including installation, maintenance, and repair.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, internal teams, and external partners.
  • A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with flexibility to work overtime and respond to emergency situations.
