Job Title: Cook

The Neighborhood at Paducah is seeking a skilled Cook to join their team in providing exceptional dining experiences for residents.

Job Summary:

The Cook is responsible for preparing and serving high-quality meals that meet the dietary needs and preferences of residents. This role requires attention to detail, excellent culinary skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook meals according to standardized recipes and production sheets
  • Ensure food quality, quantity, and presentation meet hospitality service standards
  • Manage food production in the absence of the Lead Cook or Food and Beverage Director
  • Maintain sanitary conditions and comply with federal, state, and local regulatory procedures
  • Record keeping and maintaining service standards and regulatory compliance
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma/GED required
  • Culinary apprenticeship or training preferred
  • One (1) year job-related experience in food preparation, full-line menu items, and therapeutic diets
  • Maintains a current SERV Safe certificate or able to participate in food services sanitation training
