Echo examinations may be conducted in diverse environments, including private homes, senior living facilities, short-term rehabilitation centers, specialized clinics, and

correctional institutions

.

Your Responsibilities:


Travel in a company-provided vehicle to conduct echocardiography assessments for patients across various service locations within the community.

Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and protocols while executing echo examinations.
Exhibit proficiency in conducting echocardiographic assessments based on established guidelines and protocols.
Perform echocardiographic studies while considering the age-specific physiological, emotional, and cognitive requirements of the patient.
Demonstrate knowledge of cardiac disease processes to ensure comprehensive image acquisition for clinical evaluation by the interpreting cardiologist.

Exhibit safe work practices relevant to the role, such as reporting safety hazards, utilizing proper body mechanics, and employing personal protective equipment.

Collect or confirm all necessary order documentation and patient details prior to procedures.
Prepare and position patients for diagnostic imaging examinations.
Operate portable ultrasonic equipment with cardiac capabilities at the patient's location or other designated examination areas.
Prepare images for review by radiologists or requesting physicians.
Process images and verify proper identification and quality control.
Transmit images and all required associated documentation to the cardiologist promptly according to company protocols.
Complete all forms and maintain records, logs, and reports of work performed in accordance with standard protocols.
Upload all necessary documents into company systems following company procedures.
Maintain equipment, including cleaning and disinfecting according to company guidelines.
Care for the vehicle; ensure that it is well-stocked with essential supplies before each shift.
Operate and conduct oneself in full compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
Assist in orienting new staff and training students, if requested.

Support order processing, validation of studies, communication with reading cardiologists, patient follow-ups, and other administrative and customer support tasks as directed.

Act professionally, displaying courtesy, friendliness, and a positive demeanor when interacting with colleagues, patients, their families, client staff, physicians, and others.

Perform additional related duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:
To qualify as a Mobile Echocardiography Specialist, you must meet all state-specific and federal requirements for training, education, competency, certification, and state licensure to perform, including one or more of the following:
Adult Cardiac Sonographer with successful completion of an accredited non-invasive cardiovascular training program, focusing on adult echocardiography and/or vascular ultrasound studies
ARDMS registered in adult echocardiography with RDCS (AE) designation OR CCI registered with Cardiac Sonographer designation

Two (2) years of experience as a cardiac sonographer or vascular technician preferred.
Additional Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) certification is desirable.
Must possess the ability to

perform high-quality and comprehensive echocardiogram studies

and

exhibit

excellent organizational skills to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Must

demonstrate

the capability to prioritize and organize

daily

tasks effectively.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Must have a working knowledge of other departmental procedures and equipment

Must be able to communicate effectively in both written and verbal forms.
Must

demonstrate

basic computer skills for data entry.
Ability to lift and carry equipment and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds.
Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings, holidays, and weekends.
