Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant to work closely with our Physical Therapists in delivering exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will administer therapy treatments as outlined in the plan of care established by a Physical Therapist, ensuring the highest rehabilitation standards are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer therapy treatments according to the Physical Therapist's plan of care.
  • Communicate significant changes in patient condition to the supervising Physical Therapist.
  • Provide input for modifying and updating treatment goals.
  • Participate in discharge planning.
  • Educate physicians, patients, families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams.
  • Document treatment progress and patient information in a timely manner.
  • Use therapy devices and equipment for patient care.
  • Employ various stretching and massage techniques.
  • Sanitize and clean therapy areas and equipment.
  • Perform clerical duties such as typing, filing, and completing forms.
  • Operate standard office equipment.
  • Answer phones and direct calls.
  • Prepare letters, memos, forms, and reports.
  • Maintain continuing education requirements to keep a valid Washington State Physical Therapy Assistant license.
  • Use personal vehicle for company business (mileage reimbursement provided).
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Valid Washington State Physical Therapy Assistant License.
  • Valid driver's license and auto insurance.
