Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per year

This is a full-time opportunity for a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in a school district near Staten Island, New York. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1+ years of experience in speech therapy and be licensed to practice in New York State.

Job Description:

As an SLP with Sunbelt Staffing, you will work with early childhood students aged 3-4, evaluating their communicative abilities and developing individualized education programs (IEPs) to help them overcome challenges. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Evaluating the communication skills of each student
  • Developing IEP goals and objectives
  • Implementing therapeutic interventions to support student progress
  • Participating in clinical case conferences to discuss student progress and develop strategies for improvement
  • Maintaining accurate records of student progress and treatment plans
  • Providing workshops and training to staff and parents on effective communication strategies and techniques
  • Collaborating with teachers and other professionals to ensure carryover of goals in the classroom and at home

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field
  • New York State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist
  • A minimum of 375 hours of hands-on supervised clinical experience
  • TSSLD/TSHH certification
